5. In the Summary pane, review the following information:
Field Description
Servers The total number of servers that the vmPRO appliance is managing.
VMs The total number of VMs that the vmPRO appliance is managing, along with
the number of VMs that are exported, and the number of VMs requiring
attention.
Click the NeedsAttention link to display the Resources tab to access
additional information regarding the VMs. See Navigating the vmPRO VMs
Console.
DXiTargets If DXi devices are configured for storage with CIFS or NFS shares, displays
the IP address for each DXi target. Click this link to open the native
management interface for the DXi device.
If more than one DXi device is available for extra storage, the xConfigured
DXilink displays. Click this link to display the AvailableStorage dialog
box. See Configuring NAS Targets for SmartMotion Backups.
6. In the NetworkThroughput pane, review the speed at which the current session is processing the
following data:
DataType Description
Combined A combination of both received and transmitted data.
Received Received data, such as data being recovered.
Transmit Transmitted data, such as data being backed up.
l Click the appropriate tab or link to display the corresponding data type.
l Click Stop to stop the data refresh feature.
l Click Start to restart the data refresh feature.
Navigating the vmPRO VMs Console
The VMs console displays status information about the virtual machines (VMs) that are resident on the
appliance. From this console, you can modify a VM's settings, select to use the Auto-Export feature,
manage folders, and manage servers and nodes.
