COMMAND CODE – E3h
DESCRIPTION – The IDLE command immediately puts the drive into IDLE mode.
The sector count register is examined. If the value of the register is not zero, the
auto-power down feature is enabled and takes effect once the countdown timer
reaches zero. The valid countdown range is listed in Table 6-22. Each time the drive
is accessed, the countdown timer is reset to the value originally set in the Sector
Count register at the time the IDLE mode auto power down command was issued.
