2. Enter the information described in the Email Settings page (see Table 6 on page 51).

3. Click Update. A message confirms that the email configuration has been updated.

4. Record the email settings in Chapter 10.

NOTE: The Email Settings page has a Reset button you can click to cancel your changes.

Table 6. Email Settings Page

Value Description

SMTP Server IP IP address of the SMTP (mail) server (up to four octets from 0 to 255,

separated by periods). Example: 192.168.31.7

SMTP Port Decimal number of the SMTP server port. Default is: 25.

Sender’s Email Address Email address that appears in the “Sent” line of the email sent by

RemoteAdmin. This is how you can identify the particular CP 3100 unit

that sent the message.
