ASetting the System Path

Variable in Windows

You may wish to update your system Path environment variable to

include the path to the

QEKM directory. This allows you to enter Q-EKM

commands on any command line rather than having to change the

directory to the

QEKM directory each time.

To update the system Path environment variable:

1 Choose

Start > Control Panel > System.

2 Select the

Advanced tab.

3 Click

Environment Variables.

4 Under System variables, select

Path.

5 Click

Edit.

6 In the Edit System Variable dialog box, click in the

Variable value field

and enter

c:\Program Files\Quantum\QEKM.

7 Click

OK, OK, OK.

Note: If there is already a value in the field, use a semicolon

(;) to separate the paths.
