Chapter 11 Installing an Internal SAS Tape Drive
Securing the Tape Drive in the System

Ensure that the host computer and all peripheral devices are turned
off.
2 Position the tape drive in the system and align the tape drive
mounting holes (side or bottom) with those in the system (see
figure 35
and figure 36).
3 Secure the tape drive in the bay or chassis using four M3 x 8mm long
screws.

Caution:
The screws used to mount the tape drive must be
M3 x 8mm long. This kind of screw is exactly the
proper length and will not damage the tape drive.
