SCSI Specifications
LVD SCSI configurations have a maximum allowable bus length of 12
meters (39 feet). To determine the cable length of the bus, measure the
lengths of the SCSI cables connecting each device to that bus and add
those lengths together. To that total length, add 12.25 inches (31.10 cm)
for the internal SCSI cable length of each SCSI tape drive.
